A specialist conveyancing back-office partner is officially launching in the UK after successfully supporting the outsourcing needs of several UK law firms through its operations in Sri Lanka.
Tellida says it helps firms explore strategic outsourcing solutions across a range of conveyancing functions, including title reviews, enquiries handling, post-completion work, and registration processes, while enabling firms to retain full control and oversight of matters.
The Sri Lanka-based company recently opened a UK office in Sutton, following extensive consultancy work with a number of conveyancing firms across England and Wales to offshore administrative processes.
Dulaj Dilshan, who is spearheading the launch, explained:
“Since our initial engagements with UK-based conveyancing firms, we’ve helped offshore a wide range of administrative and non-client-facing tasks. This has led to improved operational efficiency and significant cost savings for our clients.
“With that experience under our belt, we’re now excited to formally launch Tellida in England and Wales, bringing these proven services to more firms looking to explore offshoring solutions.”
To provide reassurance around quality and compliance, Dilshan highlighted the expertise of Tellida’s workforce:
“Our legal support staff include law graduates with LLB and LLM degrees from UK universities, who are well-versed in UK conveyancing procedures and regulatory compliance. In addition, our team includes qualified accountants (ACCA, CIMA), IT engineers, and multilingual customer service professionals, supporting a growing global client base.”
Beyond conveyancing, Tellida now partners with organisations across Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Singapore, and the USA, offering services in finance and accounting outsourcing, contact centre operations, and remote IT support.
For UK law firms, Tellida provides support throughout the entire conveyancing lifecycle, including onboarding, sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, Help to Buy, shared ownership, right to buy, new builds, and post-completion submissions. This includes liaising with lenders and HM Land Registry. Each matter is assigned to a dedicated handler, who manages the file from instruction through to registration, fully integrated within the client’s existing case management system. For compliance, Tellida encourages firms to review title reports and complex enquiries internally to ensure legal scrutiny remains in-house where necessary.
Dilshan added:
“To remain compliant with CLC and SRA guidelines, outsourcing must be fully supervised. We support this with our own non-disclosure agreements, data protection protocols, client disclosure assistance, and comprehensive audit documentation. Importantly, we are certified under ISO 27001:2022, ensuring high standards of information security and data protection compliance.”
He concluded:
“Our UK launch is a natural progression of our international experience. We’re confident we can deliver real value to conveyancing firms by reducing administrative burden and significantly lowering operational costs.”
