Novus Strategy, the strategic advisory and technology consultancy for the home buying and selling industry, has appointed Claire Van der Zant as its new chief executive officer.
Van der Zant’s appointment marks her progression in a series of senior leadership roles overseeing aspects including commercial strategy, operational excellence and digital adoption initiatives. Her expertise in scaling businesses and fostering high-performing teams will be instrumental in the company’s next phase of growth, says Novus.
Founding partners Chris Williams and Pete Gatenby said of the appointment:
“Claire’s deep experience in digital transformation and strategy, combined with her commercial acumen and leadership will propel Novus into its next chapter. We are thrilled to have her on board.”
Van der Zant added:
“Novus has built a strong reputation for its expertise in its agnostic vantage point across the ecosystem and enabling HDI across the property industry. Whilst the industry has reached a level of vertical digital maturity, the shared ambition to reduce property transaction times and deliver seamless customer journeys is yet to be fully realised.
“The next phase of digital transformation is to unlock greater value through interoperability, with horizontal integration across the industry. I look forward to working with the Novus team, our clients and the wider industry to help realise this next phase of transformation and growth.”
Novus helps lenders, law firms and prop-tech companies to modernise their digital estates, drive efficiency, reduce transaction times and unlock new revenue opportunities. Van der Zant’s leadership will strengthen the company’s position as the trusted partner for organisations navigating complex industry-wide transformation, Novus says.
