New Hires at LendInvest

LendInvest has expanded its team by hiring a new Director of Mortgage Underwriting and a second Business Development Manager in the North West.

Gene Clohessy joins the team as the Director of Mortgage Underwriting from Shawbrook Bank. She will be leading the team towards its goal of market leading broker engagement, faster underwriting processes and improved communication channels.

Gene has over 18 years’ experience in the financial sector, working for a range of banks including the Bank of Ireland, Allied Irish Banks and most recently Shawbrook Bank where she worked as a Senior Divisional Credit Manager within the Buy-to-Let team.

Jan Gallagher is also joining the LendInvest team, as a Business Development Manager, and will be responsible for sourcing details across the North West of England.

Jan has over 30 years’ experience in the sector and will call on that experience as both a broker and a Business Development Manager to help her in this role. She joins LendInvest from Vida Home Loans. Her previous roles have seen here working for Foundation Home Loans and Masthaven.

Jan will work alongside existing Business Development Manager for the North West, Sophie Mitchell-Chapman.

Ian Boden, Sales Director at LendInvest, commented:

“It is always an exciting time when we are able to bring excellent people into the business, which is why we are particularly delighted to announce these two hires. Gene and Jan bring a wealth of experience in their respective areas to their teams; experience that will not only bolster our quality of origination in an area we are seeing a lot of demand, but also provide a superior, tailored experience for brokers and borrowers throughout the underwriting process.”
