National Conveyancing Month 2026

National Conveyancing Month – What’s coming up in week two

With National Conveyancing Month well underway, week two promises to deliver more insight and value for conveyancers.

The highlight of the first week was a panel discussion hosted by Alex Holt of Cashroom, discussing pricing and fee structures designed to move away from the race to the bottom.

The panel – Toni Wensley, partner at Amphlett Lissimore, Matt Jackson, partner at Nicholas & Co Solicitors, and Nick Masheder, founder at Threemo – explored operational efficiencies to streamline workflows to eliminate bottlenecks, and upselling and cross-selling to unlock new revenue streams by building strong relationships with estate agents and brokers.

A full rundown of the week’s events can be found on the Conveyancing Foundation website.

Week two begins with a message about creating a culture of giving, from Conveyancing Foundation co-chair Janine Wellington and founder and patron Lloyd Davies. The pair discuss how they and their teams at Convey Law and Convey365 have raised over £1 million for charity and enhanced the culture within their organisations through giving and effective cultural principals.

The first part of the seminar explores the story behind the Conveyancing Foundation and explains how to raise funds for your chosen charities through the Foundation Charity Lotto and Grant Scheme, which are available for all organisations and individuals working in the property industry.

Part two explains how to create a positive business culture, along with the tools, ideas and principles necessary to achieve a healthy work life balance: watch the video here.

The Conveyancing Foundation has also provided an update on the arctic escapades of Sam Hawking, who has been taking part in the Lapland Arctic Ultra Challenge – attempting to walk and run 500 kilometres across the Arctic Circle in just five days in aid of Kids Cancer Charity.

Despite being a front runner out of 75 challengers in the self-survival challenge, Hawking has had to withdraw after arctic cold and sub-zero temperatures led to frostbite in his right thumb.

Commenting on his withdrawal, Hawking said:

“I am devastated to have had to withdraw from the challenge after having trained so hard and put myself in a position to win the challenge within the record-breaking time that I had hoped for. My apologies to everyone and a massive thank you to everyone that has supported me and the Kids Cancer Charity on our journey. Thank you all for your wonderful support and donations! I will be back!!”

Kids Cancer Charity supports children and their families through their challenging journey and to date Hawking has raised over £12,000. To make a donation, go to https://www.justgiving.com/page/samhawking

National Conveyancing Month is an extension of the former National Conveyancing Week, with on and offline events throughout March designed to raise the profile of conveyancers in the property transaction. Where previously the activities were scheduled across one week in March, requiring considerable commitment from conveyancers wishing to take part in the informative discussion sessions and TED-style talks, this year the events are spread over the month of March, published every Monday morning and available on demand via the Conveyancing Foundation YouTube channel.

National Conveyancing Month agenda

  • Monday 9th March: Leading with purpose – charity initiatives that inspire.
  • Monday 16th March: Surviving and thriving: Practical wellbeing advice for conveyancers.
  • Thursday 19th March: Collaboration coffee morning.
  • Monday 23rd March: Rob’s rumble in the jungle.
  • Tuesday 31st March: The great conveyancing quiz off.

Collaboration coffee morning

The coffee morning this year will take place on Thursday 19th March, with participants inviting guests and business partners and their team to join for a coffee and a chat. Firms are encouraged to raise money for their chosen charities. Don’t forget share and tag National Conveyancing Month in pictures of the coffee mornings, with the hashtag #NCM2026.

The Conveyancing Foundation, which organises National Conveyancing Month, would like to show its appreciation for all its charity partners, without whose support the initiative wouldn’t happen.
