Mid Devon District Council have been voted the winners of the Customer Satisfaction Award at the Land Data 2016 Local Land Charges Awards.
Solicitors and licensed conveyancers voted for the 9th annual award and were asked to consider quality, efficiency, reliability and value for money.
Mid Devon finished top of 32 local authorities after 132 votes were cast. Wealden District Council was also highly commended in the award sponsored by Thames Water Property Searches.
Jan Boothroyd, Land Data’s Chief Executive said: “On a regular basis we see antagonistic stories about local government local land charges performance, so we are delighted to be able to share good news about those LLC teams that deliver, on the whole, an excellent service.
