Making the best use of break clauses – a free CPD webinar

Many businesses are still working out how to use their commercial premises in the post-Lockdown world, or whether they need them at all.

The ability to get out of a lease is an important tool for Tenants in planning for the future. Lawyers need to be ready to offer the best advice to clients on these matters.

As part of our role as a trusted partner of property lawyers, Stewart Title UK is pleased to sponsor a special FREE CPD WEBINAR from IQ Training and Maitland Chambers on how to advise tenants, provide the information they need to know, and how and when to exercise any break clauses in their leases.

The webinar runs on Thursday 30 June at 11am and in it, Ian Quayle and Philomena Harrison will:

  • examine issues which frequently arise in connection with break provisions in leases;
  • provide guidance on what a tenant needs to do and what to avoid in order to exercise break clauses effectively; and
  • look at break clauses from the viewpoint of the landlord and discuss ways to challenge or otherwise dispute the validity of any notices.
