Latest quarterly conveyancing sentiment survey launched

The latest quarterly conveyancing sentiment survey from the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC) has been launched with views on the potential impact of this month’s budget anticipated to dominate discussion.

The Quarterly Confidence Tracker seeks the opinion of conveyancers on the current state of home buying and selling. As well as gauging views on consumer confidence, transaction times, and whether the process of moving is improving, in its latest poll the regulator also wants to hear what the sector thinks Chancellor John Healey could deliver that would make a difference – from reducing or reforming Stamp Duty to greater mortgage affordability and support for first-time buyers.

The Quarterly Confidence Tracker should take under two minutes to complete, and you can have your say here.
