Marketing for conveyancers

Land Registry e-DRS terms and conditions update

The Land Registry has opened up their electronic Document Registration Service (e-DRS) to every professional customer who sends an application to change the register.

Previously the service was only open to conveyancers but the Land Registry have decided to meet customer demand by simplifying the terms and conditions that govern the use of electronic channels and e-DRS.

Customers can now use e-DRS without signing a Network Access Agreement (NAA).

Business Gateway Connection Terms and Conditions have been removed— the use of Business Gateway will be subject to the Conditions of Use for Portal and Business Gateway.

The NAA will no longer govern access to Information Services. Access to Information Services is governed entirely by the Conditions of Use for Portal and Business Gateway.

The Land Reigstry has updated the following documents to bring these changes into effect:

– Network Access Agreement

– Technical Manual part 1

– Conditions of Use for Portal and Business Gateway

These documents can be found on their Business e-services terms and conditions webpage.
