british conveyancing awards 2023

‘Just when I thought I couldn’t love this profession any more…’

One brand new venue. 400 attendees in person. Over 500 people watching via livestream. 26 esteemed judges. 21 winners crowned. £8,000 raised for charity on the night. £15,000 raised until now for the Syria Turkey earthquake appeal. 4,006 photographs taken. Countless memories made.

Another year of the British Conveyancing Awards is behind us.

One mustn’t look further than Tuesday’s event to see the fellowship of the conveyancing industry with National Conveyancing Week having brought conveyancers closer together like never before.

“Just when I thought I couldn’t love the conveyancing profession any more,” said Aconveyancing’s Natalie Moore – who was highly commended in the Industry Champion category – following the event.

That sentiment was felt from the moment attendees stepped off Trafalgar Square through the tall doors of 8 Northumberland Avenue and throughout the networking, dining, drinking, and dancing that followed.

Each winner was greeted with rapturous applause reflecting the pride and delight not only of their colleagues and friends, but of everybody in the room, all united by one thing: the conveyancing industry.

That unification will only grow stronger in the aftermath of the British Conveyancing Awards and National Conveyancing Week.

Conveyancers are superheroes who help the young first-time buyer, the second-stepper, the person buying their dream home, the downsizer, the bereaved, the separating, and everybody in between – it’s important they are recognised as such, and the events of last week did just that.

Commenting on the week’s events was David Opie, Managing Director, Today’s Media, organisers of the Awards and publishers of Today’s Conveyancer:

“For me the highlight of the Awards and National Conveyancing Week is the attention firms have placed on their conveyancing teams and the marketing effort that has gone into to promoting their skills, expertise, referral relationships, and more.

We seem to have galvanised people into action which is fantastic. It is crucial that this continues beyond the end of National Conveyancing Week and throughout 2023.”

Malcolm Smith, Commercial Director at Headline Sponsor Groundsure said:

“Groundsure would like to offer our congratulations to all of the winners and the ‘highly commended’ at the British Conveyancing Awards. It was a brilliantQ night recognising hard work and commitment to the industry. It was great to see you all celebrating together – we hope you all had a great night.”

Networking Sponsor Taylor Rose MW’s Head of Consultant Services Nick Stimson said:

“I would like to thank everyone for a wonderful day at the British Conveyancing Awards 2023 – it was great to connect with both old and new faces in the Old Billiard Room […] Many thanks and we look forward to seeing you all again next year.”
