Robert Jenrick is set to address Parliament today, Wednesday 10 February 2021, to present plans for further funding to address dangerous cladding currently used on walls of high rise buildings.
It is reported that he will announce billions of pounds of funding to remove the cladding from high rise buildings. Already £1.6bn has been committed to tackling this issue.
It is thought that the funding only covers certain buildings, which has angered leasehold campaign groups who live in block under 18m.
Property expert Phil Spencer is backing the campaign to end the cladding scandal.
