Investors in People (IIP) have awarded SortRefer Silver Accreditation to commend the hard work and dedication of employees at the firm.
The award was given to Sort Group Ltd, the parent company of SortRefer. However, it wasn’t given easily.
Part of the criteria for the award saw employees at SortRefer from across the company being questioned by IIP assessors, focusing on the key areas of Leading, Supporting and Improving. After the questioning was complete the IIP encouraged the organistion to look at the feedback they gave, in order to help the business improve in the areas in the hope of even more success in the future.
Tracy Duggan, the IIP Assessor, said:
“This award is testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment to the businesses by the senior team and employees, which was apparent at assessment.”
Kevin Tunnicliffe, Chief Executive Officer at Sort Group Ltd, said:
“We have always worked hard to create a culture that values and invests in each and every member of staff. Taking part in the Investors in People assessment and consequent feedback has given us a clearer idea of what we are doing well and those areas we need to work on. We are all delighted with the Silver accreditation, which is a significant step up from the standard award that we received three years ago. We will continue to work towards Gold accreditation next time.”
