HMLR encourages conveyancers to sign up for free guides, tips and updates

HM Land Registry is encouraging conveyancers to sign up for three free newsletters which deliver all the latest information, advice and guidance by email.

Monthly newsletters Landnet and Practice and Process, and the new quarterly update Right First Time, have been designed to offer clear guidance and practical insight to conveyancers, along with timely updates to services.

Landnet, delivered on the last Wednesday of every month,is a concise digest of HMLR’s latest news. The emailed newsletter includes customer support updates, progress on the transformation of the property market, developments in digital services and training, and transaction and property price trends.

Practice and Process is shared on the second Wednesday of each month and contains a definitive guide to changes in land registration practice. It provides detailed explanations of updates to practice guides, clear summaries of what’s changed, updates on process improvements, and highlights from HMLR’s customer training programme.

Practice and Process also includes the regular Q&A Ask Adam feature, in which HMLR’s customer policy manager Adam Hookway answers readers’ questions.

The monthly newsletters have recently been supplemented by Right First Time, a quarterly newsletter which aims to help post-completion teams and administrative staff to submit error-free applications. The second issue will be out in May.

To sign up, go to the HMLR subscriptions page and choose the newsletters you’d like to receive. To subscribe to Right First Time, select the Customer Training checkbox.
