HM Land Registry is launching a podcast

It is not always easy to find time to sit down and engage with videos and webinars at work. But what if you could hear about key aspects of land registration at leisure, on the train, in the car or over lunch? HM Land Registry’s new podcast aims to make this possible.

In their launch episode, Assistant Land Registrar Chris Milns and Practice Adviser Joel Roberts reveal how customer feedback helped inform version 2 of the Form RXC, which can be used with forms of restriction that require a consent or certificate.

Chris and Joel explain why the form RXC was developed, how best to use it and what has changed in the new version. They also answer frequently asked questions, including how to complete panel 3, ways to sign the form, and using it to comply with a Form LL restriction.

To find out which two major legal firms are incorporating form RXC into their systems, what the C in RXC stands for, and why this form is not really a form, listen here or use the link below.

This first podcast is a pilot, with more in the pipeline, such as Top Tips for Lodging Quality Applications.

It will be customers’ views, though, that help shape the future direction.

To give feedback, simply complete this short survey. You will find it with the podcast on SoundCloud, and also on our GOV.UK page. All comments are welcome, and HM Land Registry is keen to hear your thoughts, along with the land registration areas you’d like to explore in this less formal, “portable” way.
