Government Call for Evidence on how to improve the housing process

The Government has launched a call for evidence, seeking industry views on ways to improve the home buying and selling process.

Seeking to obtain suggestions from those who have an interest in the process, the consultation is calling for suggestions on how the current system can be made ‘cheaper, faster and less stressful.’

The government state that they are committed to improving the process and state that responses to the call will assist them in formulating a future work programme to do so.

The consultation is open until 17 December 2017 and responses can be submitted online or by post.

Further information on providing evidence as well as the consultation itself can be accessed here.
