Geodesys to host Commercial Property Forum with key industry experts

On Wednesday, 12th July, Geodesys is hosting a commercial conveyancing CPD at Wivenhoe House, Colchester. They will be joined by industry experts Ian Quayle of IQ Legal Training and Landmark Information Group for a morning of talks and discussion. This is an excellent opportunity to network with fellow industry professionals and share best practices, ideas and problems to provide the best service to your clients.

Ian Quayle will delve into a range of topics, including due diligence and reporting in commercial transactions, the recent law society guidance on climate change and the implications of the 2022 Building Safety Act for landlords and developers.

Landmark Information Group, who are kindly sponsoring the event, will be available to answer any questions you may have about their conveyancing search offering as well as delivering an informative talk on the impact of climate change.

Philip Hill, Channel Partner, Landmark, said:

“Landmark aims to contribute to the legal industry’s collective efforts in mitigating the impact of climate change by equipping solicitors with the necessary tools, resources and know-how, enabling them to meet the challenges of climate change and continue to provide the best in due diligence for their clients. As a valued partner of Geodesys, we welcome the opportunity to share and demonstrate our expertise.”

Building good relationships with customers is core to Geodesys. The morning will include a networking brunch so why not sign up and come and be part of the Geodesys community.

Ellie Player, Head of Geodesys, said:

“This is the first commercial conveyancing event we have held in the Colchester area since COVID and we are really looking forward to the opportunity to welcome conveyancing professionals from across the area. It’s a lovely venue, and we have some great speakers lined up, so it is set to be a great (and informative!) morning.”
