Geodesys Continues Growth Plans And Promotes New Platform Owner From Within

Huntingdon, 6th December 2018: Geodesys – part of the Anglian Water Group and a leading provider of conveyancing searches for residential and commercial properties throughout England and Wales – is today announcing the promotion of Darren Bryant to the position of Platform Owner after 11 years with the company.

In his new role, Darren will act as the link between the customer-facing and software development teams to ensure the tools and processes being developed are seamless and improve the customer’s experience with the Geodesys platform.

Darren first joined Geodesys in 2007 and spent the next five years learning the ins and outs of Customer Service. He continued climbing the ladder and went on to experience other aspects of the business, working as an analyst across all Geodesys’ platforms and applications, completing roles such as Systems and Process Analyst and Application Support Analyst.

In his new position, Darren’s main responsibility will be to ensure that the technical development of the platform aligns with client needs, further improving customer satisfaction and contributing to Geodesys’ growth plans. Darren will provide direction to the company’s delivery team and prioritise workflow within the Software Development and Testing departments. He will also supervise the team’s shift from a “Waterfall” to an “Agile” software delivery method.

Commenting on his recent promotion, Darren said: “I joined this company as a fresh-faced 19-year-old, who didn’t really know what he wanted to do in life. Geodesys has offered me the space to grow both professionally and personally and supported me throughout my 11-year career here. I am delighted to continue on this journey as Platform Owner and I’m excited to see what the future holds.
