Final week to nominate your Industry Champion

The British Conveyancing Awards 2022, alongside headline sponsor Dye & Durham, invites readers of Today’s Conveyancer and the wider industry to recognise individuals and firms who have made a significant difference to the life and time of the sector over the past 12 months.

Who, in your opinion, has

  • produced something extraordinary that supports our industry
  • put the interest of the industry at the forefront of everything they do
  • excelled at a time of transition in the conveyancing sector
  • overcome challenges with minimal disruption to the outcome of their work

We want you to nominate your industry champion to be put forward to a public vote, culminating in the crowning of the inaugural “Today’s Conveyancer Industry Champion” at The British Conveyancing Awards’ virtual ceremony on 15th March 2022. The deadline for nominations is Friday 11th February 2022.

“In our eyes the Industry Champion not just an award but a true recognition by fellow conveyancers who understand the pressures you face daily and appreciate your efforts to go above and beyond.”

says Darren Tierney, Director at Move Reports and sponsor of the Today’s Conveyancer Industry Champion category.

2022 also sees the introduction of a second award voted for by the industry with the launch of “Conveyancing Firm of the Year – National” sponsored by Groundsure.

Traditionally a category that sees written submissions from around the country, the purpose of the nominations process is to capture the spirit of togetherness fostered by the pandemic, and encourage conveyancers to recognise the efforts of one another in achieving the 1 million+ home moves in 2021, the highest volume of home moves in over 10 years.

“Conveyancing Firm of the Year – National is especially important as the winner is not only voted for by peers who recognise their quality and commitment to service but also evidenced by their performance in getting completions done to the highest standard.”

says Malcolm Smith, Chief Operating Officer at Groundsure.

David Opie, Managing Director of Today’s Media, the publishers of Today’s Conveyancer and organisers of the awards adds

“We really want to recognise those conveyancers whose efforts at the coalface don’t go unnoticed by fellow professionals. It is especially rewarding to see some unsung heroes nominated so far and we look forward to being able to reveal the exciting shortlist in just a couple of weeks.”

Tickets for the in-person element of the awards are now on sale and you can register to live-stream the event through The British Conveyancing Awards’ website. A discounted early bird rate is available until Tuesday 22nd February.
