ETSOS the long term supporter of Today’s Conveyancer has recently celebrated its second anniversary.
To mark its second birthday, online search provider and conveyancing technology specialist, ETSOS, has reported a slump-busting start to 2012, with search volumes up by 107% compared with the same period in 2011.
The jump in figures is partly attributable to increased user numbers — but also partly to the ‘one click’ search facility offered by the ETSOS system.
Explains managing director Phil Natusch: “What we’re seeing more and more is exclusive use of our search ordering portal whereas previously some firms would still be utilising other outlets and tools alongside ETSOS. That’s why we’ve worked so hard on usability and giving users what they want — be that the single click selection of ‘Favourites’, ie your regular search bundles, or the ability to review each search as it comes in and deal with any queries immediately.
We’re also seeing the first fruits of our free Quotation & Referral System (QRS). QRS is now being used by conveyancers and estate agents across the UK to enable them to create what are in effect local panels, but without any of the fees or lack of integration. Agents can pull a quotation from their preferred conveyancer in real-time and if the instruction goes ahead, all the client data is squirted automatically to the conveyancer and into the search ordering portal — no rekeying needed, no need to go elsewhere to search, the user can just action new searches instantly with the agent also able to check on progress. This has driven more business into the conveyancer which has in turn led to more search volumes for ETSOS.”
With the business enjoying consistently high growth rates, ETSOS will also be investing a six-figure sum during 2012 to expand its infrastructure and push on with further product development. Phil Natusch comments: “ We work in an ‘always on’ culture these days and one needs the highest possible levels of speed and availability to meet our clients’ expectations. As we grow and service more people more quickly, we have to scale up to ensure we can continue to deliver to the standards required.”
