Estate agents can register now to preview online conveyancing portal

The conveyancing industry is gearing up for an online revolution with the imminent launch of Veyo, the comprehensive conveyancing portal. Estate agents will be able to access the system to keep track of the sale of their client’s home, helping them provide an enhanced customer service in a more time efficient manner.

For the latest development updates and the first opportunity to preview the portal’s unique features for estate agents, register now at www.veyo.co.uk.

Veyo brings together all the processes, checks and documentation undertaken by solicitors and licensed conveyancers in the sale and purchase of residential properties in one online portal. It offers an efficient, secure and transparent way of managing the conveyancing process. Veyo, the joint partnership of The Law Society and global IT solutions company, Mastek UK, has already seen a substantial number of conveyancers and solicitors register prior to its launch in late Spring.

Through the chain view feature, estate agents will be able to check how a property sale or purchase is progressing. The feature will benefit estate agents greatly. The improved transparency will reduce their time spent keeping buyers or sellers up-to-date, help alleviate stress and worry and ensure everyone is aware of potential problems that may be holding up the chain. In addition, with instantly uploaded information and a secure platform between firms to deal online together, the length of time it takes to purchase or sell a home will be substantially reduced.

Elliott Vigar, CEO of Veyo, comments: “We have had an excellent response from the conveyancing industry as the roll out of the portal gathers pace. It will transform the home buying process for not only conveyancers but estate agents and homebuyers. The chain view feature will be available to estate agents soon after the initial launch to the conveyancing industry and we are therefore encouraging the industry to register now for development updates and an opportunity for a preview prior to the launch.”
