Cheshire based Bell Lamb & Joynson have announced the promotions of two new equity partners who have ‘made significant contributions to the firm’s success and will now play pivotal roles in shaping its future.’ Private Client partner Jessica Flaherty and Partner in the Residential Property team Rachael McClean have both been appointed to their new positions as equity partners from 1 July 2024.
Bell Lamb & Joynson has been in business since 1821 with offices in Liverpool, Runcorn, and Warrington, and Maghull. The firm specialises in Private Client, Conveyancing, Family Law, Wills, Criminal Defence. The promotions support the firm’s commitment to a diverse and inclusive workforce with two thirds of the partnership female (62%), with the senior leadership team becoming 66% female.
Residential Property partner Rachael McClean heads up the Maghull office, opened in April 2023. She was awarded ‘highly commended’ for the ‘Conveyancer of the Year’ award at the Modern Law Conveyancing awards in November 2023 and has personally achieved 180 5-star client reviews on ReviewSolicitors. Jessica Flaherty joined Bell Lamb & Joynson in 2022 to head up the Private Client department. Shortlisted for ‘Lawyer of the Year – Wills & Probate’ award at the Modern Law Awards, Jessica has led a 459% increase in the team and ‘significantly increased’ turnover. On her promotion she says
