The British Conveyancing Awards returns in 2026 to recognise and celebrate the work of conveyancers up and down the country, at a brand new venue in Manchester. Organised by the publishers of Today’s Conveyancer, the awards welcomes back Groundsure as Headline Sponsor, with entries encouraged from individuals, firms and organisations who play their part in the success of the property market.

From midnight the rate increases to £169 +VAT. There is a separate single category entry rate of £89 +VAT. Having been hosted in London for the past four years, the British Conveyancing Awards move to Manchester in 2026, to the iconic Manchester Cathedral on 12th March 2026. The host for the awards will be announced in the coming weeks.
Commenting on their continued support for the awards, Malcolm Smith, CEO at Headline Sponsor Groundsure, said:
“We are absolutely thrilled to once again be the headline sponsor of the British Conveyancing Awards 2026 in what is a very iconic venue in Manchester. These awards are a fantastic celebration of the innovation, expertise, and dedication within the conveyancing profession.
“At Groundsure, we know how central conveyancing professionals are to giving clients clarity, confidence, and peace of mind in what is often the biggest transaction of their lives. Supporting these awards is a natural extension of our commitment to the sector – providing market-leading environmental and climate data, alongside the tools and resources that help firms deliver the very best due diligence and client care.
“We are proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals and firms across the industry, and we look forward to an inspiring evening that shines a spotlight on the talent and resilience that continue to drive the profession forward.”
Each year the categories are reviewed and fine-tuned to ensure they remain relevant; alongside the return of popular categories including ‘Best Place to Work’, ‘Conveyancing Firm of the Year’, and ‘Conveyancer of the Year’, 2026 sees the introduction of three brand new categories.
- Commercial Property Team of the Year
- Partner of the Year
A new ‘Property Commentator of the Year‘ has been introduced to capture the voices of people who contribute to the discourse of the market, whether through on and offline news, social media, webinars, podcasts; discussing market machinations, helpful commentary, and/or delivering insight and expertise across the conveyancing and property sector for professionals and/or consumers.
All the categories and criteria can be seen here.
