Conveyancing specialist appoints new director

HS Conveyancing, the dedicated residential conveyancing specialist launched by law firm Savage Silk, has promoted Ruth Beeton to Director.

Ruth, who was been with the business for five years, will oversee the continued growth of HS Conveyancing, which is expanding its presence across the UK. It has plans to increase its team to 20 within the next twelve months and is already recruiting two Business Development Managers for the North West and South East, building on the instructions it has already secured in those regions. Simon Priestley, Director at HS Conveyancing, said:

“We are delighted to recognise the work Ruth has put into the business over the last five years since she joined us as Head of Conveyancing. We have seen the business grow, but more importantly Ruth has lead the charge on building the business so that it is tech-led and incorporates a full digital process, which allows us to take the business national.”

This has only been made possible because of the groundwork we have done in recent years. We have steadily increased instructions from other areas of the country and have secured an increasing number of instructions from London and the South East.”

Ruth Beeton said:

“I’ve really enjoyed the challenge of putting my stamp on the business over the last five years. It’s not been an easy time to be a conveyancer with Covid and then Stamp Duty Land Tax. However, this gave us the impetus to drive the radical change that is required; not only our business, but the conveyancing profession generally, so that we can meet the challenges that the profession is going to face in the coming years with Material Information and AI.”

This will support the bespoke services at HS Conveyancing that will speed up the transaction process and give clients confidence and transparency in a complex and sometimes daunting process. We have consistently been developing our client-focused service that incorporates new technologies and ways of working, delivered by our expert team. This will enable us to win more work in other areas of the country, including for high-net-worth clients in London, and we are confident this business will grow as a trusted provider of conveyancing services across the UK.”
