The Conveyancing Foundation celebrated its 10 year anniversary in 2025, a decade in which the organisation achieved its objective of enhancing the lives of those working in the property industry – and raised £1.3 million for charitable causes.
In the coming year, the foundation aims to emulate and surpass its success, guided by co-chairs Rob Hailstone, David Opie and Jess Smith. Following the successes of National Conveyancing Week and Wellbeing at Work Week, the initiatives have been extended to a full month, bringing together industry figures to inspire, educate and encourage collaboration and best practice.
As a staunch advocate of wellbeing and mental health support, the foundation developed courses specific to conveyancers in 2025, and its Wellbeing Excellence Survey will provide a further barometer for businesses in the property industry in 2026.
When the Conveyancing Foundation was established as a non-profit registered charity in 2015, it pledged to promote charitable fundraising along with its mental health, wellbeing and best practice initiatives.
That promise has delivered £1.3 million over the last decade, raising funds through initiatives including the Charity Lotto, through which Lotto members Wilson Nesbit, Sam Hawkings Property Lawyers, Shared Direction and BTMK Solicitors have raised tens of thousands of pounds. The foundation will launch a new Charity Lotto QR initiative in 2026.
In 2025, Convey Law raised £83,000 for eight charities – find out more about how they did it in this video. The foundation’s charity grant scheme also supported 20 property professionals and raised over £12,000 while promoting charity challenge initiatives.
The Conveyancing Foundation thanks its stakeholders for their support over the last decade, which will extend into 2026 with milestone events including The British Conveyancing Awards in March, The Bold Legal Group Conference in June, The ESTAS in October, and ending the year with The Society for Licensed Conveyancers Conference in November.
The trustees also thank all the partners who supported the foundation in delivering its objectives in 2025: Landmark, tmgroup, Groundsure, The Society Of Licensed Conveyancers, PEXA, Paragon Brokers Property Conveyancing Consultancy, Post Partner, Miller Insurance, LEAP, Martello, Checkboard, Law Care, The ESTAS, Convey 365, Convey Law, Today’s Media, Bold Legal Group, Convey Law, Morale Solutions, Inside Conveyancing and Orion Legal Marketing.
Special thanks are given to Conveyancing Foundation founders and patrons Lloyd and Tracey Davies for their philanthropic contribution, with their teams at Convey Law and Convey365 providing over £300,000 in time and support over the last 10 years.
“We look forward to a prosperous 2026 for the foundation and to continue to deliver on our mission to improve the lives of those in the property industry.”
