Conveyancing Foundation aims to raise £150,000 in 2016

The Conveyancing Foundation aims to raise £150,000 for charities in 2016 – triple what it raised last year.

In 2015 the Foundation raised £50,000 for the south Wales children’s hospice Tŷ Hafan through the Matterhorn Challenge.

This year the foundation has already completed a 200 mile “Ride to the Rugby” bike ride from Cardiff to Dublin, so far raising £10,200 for homeless charity Shelter Cymru. They also plan to ride from Cardiff to Colchester on 21st April.

They also hope to be able to have enough Conveyancers on board to raise £40,000 through the “Free Legal Fe Charity Competition” each month by the end of the year.

Chairman of the Conveyancing Foundation, Lloyd Davies, said: “The Conveyancing Foundation has been established to help Conveyancers raise money for their chosen charities. The Foundation is here to help and not to choose the charities for the Conveyancers.

“The Free Legal Fee Charity Competition is an excellent way for Conveyancers to raise funds quickly and effectively on a monthly basis for their chosen charities. It is very easy to establish – Conveyancers of all sizes can access a toolkit to set up their own functionality from our website. We would like everyone to get involved in “conveyancing for charity” this year.  Please do not hesitate to contact us for additional information.”

Since being founded 5 years ago the charitable organisation has raised over £320,000 for charities.
