Conveyancing Association firms dominate Industry Awards

Conveyancing Association (CA) members won seven out of twelve awards at the ‘Law Firm Services Conveyancing Awards’ in Coventry on Thursday, demonstrating more than ever that CA members are the best of the best in the highly competitive conveyancing industry.
In fact, CA member firms won 18 of the 36 first, second and third prizes up for grabs on the day, enjoying clean sweeps in several categories.
In the most prestigious award for the ‘Overall Conveyancing Firm of the Year’, the CA members dominated completely with myhomemove winning first place, followed by Advantage Property Lawyers in second and Stephensons in third — all well established CA members.
Stephenson’s also won the North West ‘Regional Conveyancing Firm of the Year’ in a triumphant evening for the firm, with fellow CA member Russell & Russell Solicitors winning third place.
In the North East ‘Regional Conveyancing Firm of the Year’ category, CA members again took all three winning places with Advantage Property Lawyers coming first, followed by Chadwick Lawrence in second and QCAS in third.
Meanwhile, CA members Fidler & Pepper Solicitors won third place in the East Midlands regional category; Brethertons Solicitors LLP won third in the South and South West; and Boys & Maughan and Colemans CTTS Solicitors won first and second place respectively in London and the South East.
In the remaining categories Lindsey Frith, from CA member firm Ramsdens Solicitors, won ‘Best Young Conveyancer’, and Thomas Legal Group and Gaby Hardwicke Solicitors won first and second place respectively in the ‘Estate Agents Conveyancing Firm of the Year’ award.
Eddie Goldsmith, Chairman of the Conveyancing Association, says:
“I am absolutely delighted to see so many of our members winning these highly prestigious awards. We pride ourselves on being the trade body for the ‘serious conveyancer’ and these fantastic wins really go to show that our members really are at the top of their game.”
