The recently hosted Minerva Conference raised over £5000 for Martin House Children’s Hospice at their 21st birthday conference hosted at the National Conference Centre (NCC) in Coventry.
Housed at the National Motorcycle Museum, the NCC, the conference, titled “Grow your Firm” marked 21 years in business for Law Firm Services.
Featuring speakers from across the legal services sector, the conference focused on empowering firms to help grow their firms with session topics including how to use data to better inform business development and marketing decisions, identifying and facilitating routes to referring work around the firm, and making the most of your case management system.
Keynote speaker Justin Urquhart Stewart told the conference all is not doom and gloom with confidence amongst consumers and businesses being the key to future prosperity.
After the conference a ‘Dinner and White Party’ was hugely well received, at which delegates and sponsors contributed £5650 to the Martin House Children’s Hospice; a charity focused on providing family-led hospice care free of charge for children and young people with life-limiting illnesses across Yorkshire from their centre in Wetherby.
Switalskis Solicitors’ Sarah Cookson and her team were responsible for selling the raffle tickets and commented
“We were moved by the support of the sponsors and delegates who gave generously to a very worthy cause”
Law Firm Services Director Richard Mathias added
“Great to be back after a 5 year absence and I am proud of the amazing generosity of all our guests which will really help this fantastic cause.”
Minerva, an onboarding tool for legal practitioners, was launched in 2017 and is part of the Law Firm Services suite of products and services.
