Checkboard and PLS partner to ‘enhance conveyancing offering’

Onboarding and verification service Checkboard have announced a partnership with conveyancing search provider Progressive Legal Solutions (PLS).

The tie up will enable firms ordering through PLS to access Checkboard’s suite of compliance and verification services. By combining Checkboard’s enhanced client due diligence checks which include Biometric ID (which is itself in line with HM Land Registry Safe Harbour standards), AML checks and Source of Funds verification with the extensive suite of searches PLS offer, clients and consumers ‘know that they will be receiving accurate data in a straight-forward manner‘ says Mark Allwood, CEO at Progressive Legal Solutions.

“We’re really pleased to be working with Checkboard, like ourselves they are a refreshing and innovative company and are supportive to our clients and consumers alike. Their forward-thinking suite of products bolster our offering, and numerous firms have shown great interest already. We look forward to working closely with the team.”

Yazad Bajina, Sales and Partnerships Director at Checkboard explains the process of integrating was ‘simple and streamlined‘ and complemented PLS’s requirement to have ‘a compliance solution fully integrated into their custom dashboard for their clients.’ A dedicated Implementation Manager assisted with any queries throughout resulting in the integration being completed in just 2 weeks.

“Progressive Legal Solutions is a well-established search provider in the UK, and we are very excited to work with them. With Checkboard fully integrated, firms can now have instant access to Biometric ID, AML and Source of Funds checks with the click of a button. By partnering with us, firms have been able to experience an innovative onboarding platform which enables them to stay compliant with ever changing regulations.”

Added Bajina.
