Charities receive £32,500 thanks to conveyancing initiatives

Donations totalling £32,500 have been shared among UK charities thanks to the initiatives of two firms in the conveyancing sector.

Conveyancing and property services group Simplify (pictured) has donated £22,500 to nine charities via the Simplify Charitable Trust, which aims to make a meaningful difference in local communities across the UK.

Airedale Baby and Children’s Bank, Bodie Hodges Foundation, Cynthia Spencer Hospice, Dreamdrops, Elsie’s Story, LOROS, Mustard Tree, The Three Tumours and St Ives Foodbank have each received £2,500 to support their vital work.

The funds were raised through a range of initiatives, including fundraising events, charity treks, sweepstakes and prize draws, and highlight Simplify’s commitment to supporting the communities it serves.

Kev Smith, Simplify’s chief operating officer (conveyancing delivery) and trustee of the Simplify Charitable Trust, said: “This achievement is a direct reflection of our people. The passion, generosity and commitment shown by colleagues across Simplify has made this possible, and it’s a powerful example of how our values come to life through action.”

Conveyancing distributor conveybuddy has donated £9,747 to its three charity partners, thaks to broker activity across its platforms during Q2.

conveybuddy users can choose to support one of three charities, the Motor Neurone Disease Association, Rainbows Hospice and Food Bank Aid.

For every completed case, conveybuddy contributes up to £5 and shares the donations among the three charities every three months.

The Q2 2026 donation is the largest so far made by conveybuddy, which the company said is due to increased adviser registrations and activity.

CEO Harpal Singh explained: “When we launched conveybuddy, we were clear we wanted there to be a real and significant charity element to what we do. One which our adviser users could determine and one which highlighted, and supported, the great work of charities that make a real difference to lots of people right across the UK.”

He added: “We hope to continue growing both the initiative itself and the support we are able to give these incredible charities. In a small way, we are hopefully making a big difference and having a major impact beyond conveyancing.”
