The British Conveyancing Awards, sponsored by Groundsure, have announced the formal launch of nominations for the 2024 Today’s Conveyancer Industry Champion alongside the opening of ticket bookings for the glitzy ceremony hosted at 8 Northumberland Avenue in London on Tuesday 12th March 2024.
The Industry Champion category is this year sponsored by Taylor Rose MW a seeks to recognise individuals who have played an influential and important role in the life and times of the conveyancing community. Who, in your opinion, is championing the coalface conveyancer, driving the profession forward and playing a leading role in shaping its future. Previous winners of this prestigious award are Richard Matthias in 2022 and Scott Bozinis in 2023.
Nominations are invited from across the profession, the only restriction being that you cannot nominate yourself, nor can you nominate somebody from within your own organisation. The nominations will be whittled down to a final shortlist which will go to a public vote with the winner announced live at The British Conveyancing Awards. With the judging process well underway and the shortlisted anticipated to be released in early February, tickets for the awards are now on sale. Demand is expected to be high following the sell out in 2023 with just over 400 professionals from across the property sector in attendance.
The format of the event will again enable plenty of opportunity for celebration, networking and socialising. The awards ceremony will be hosted from 5.30pm with a simultaneous live stream via The British Conveyanicng Awards website for those unable to join in person. Following the ceremony the evening moves to the Networking Reception with the full attendee list made available to guests in advance to enable them to organise conversations and catch ups. Dinner follows the Networking Reception before the After-Party takes us through to the end of the night.
