InfoTrack has conducted the first ever Digital Conveyancing Maturity Index. The survey assesses all the key stages of conveyancing, including onboarding, pre-completion, post-completion, onboarding new clients, and effective and seamless integration into Case Management Software (CMS) to manage conveyancing matters.
The report ranks Bell Lamb & Joynson in the top three most digitally mature law firms in the UK with a score of 92.9 percent and second in the category of medium-sized law firms (26-199 employees).
Bell Lamb & Joynson harnesses technology to ensure clients experience a smooth and straightforward journey when buying or selling their property. A client conveyancing app allows for case tracking, document sharing, collaboration, ID verification, AML checks, payment, in-app/online completion of legally required property information forms, and communications with Bell Lamb & Joynson clients via mobile or online for the duration of the matter.
Over three hundred law firms and conveyancers across the country participated in the survey, including members of the Law Society, the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC), The Society of Licensed Conveyancers (SLC), Bold Legal Group, LawNet, and The Conveyancing Association.
The comprehensive survey by InfoTrack is the first of its kind across England and Wales. It gives an insight into the level of digital advancement in the conveyancing sector and means conveyancers can benchmark themselves against their peers to get a clear picture of how well they are doing or how much further they still need to go.
