British Conveyancing Awards judging

#BCAwards2026 judging panel announced – tickets now available

Tickets for the British Conveyancing Awards 2026, sponsored by Groundsure, are now available as the awards enters the critical period of judging. This year’s panel of judges will review the entries from individuals, firms and business up and down the country, with the finalists set to be announced early February.

The British Conveyancing Awards 2026 will be hosted at Manchester Cathedral on 12th March 2026; the first time the awards have moved north since they launched. Explaining the decision to move north, Today’s Media, the awards’ organisers and publishers of Today’s Conveyancer, said the move will enable the continued growth of the event.

In each of the four years the ceremony was hosted in London – first at Church House and subsequently at 8 Northumberland Avenue – the event had reached capacity, Today’s Media said.

More than 450 conveyancing professionals are expected to descend on Manchester for what is set to be one of the sector’s highlights of the year, which will be hosted by impressionist, comedian and actor Jon Culshaw.

Tickets are now available priced at £289 ex VAT, and include an optional £10 donation to the Conveyancing Foundation.

The independent judging panel has begun the process of scrutinising each entry against the criteria for each category, which have been designed to challenge entrants to present a compelling case as to why they should be recognised.

The panel brings together a wide range of industry experience expertise, including legal practitioners, firm leaders, sector innovators, compliance specialists and technology experts.

Commenting on the panel, Today’s Media managing director David Opie said:

“The most important element of the awards is the judging process, which is completely independent and rigorous to ensure the credibility of the awards is maintained at all times. I am so pleased our panel members have agreed to be part of the event this year, and I thank each of them for their diligence and expertise. It’s a cliché, but without them, the awards simply wouldn’t happen.”
