The entry deadline for The British Conveyancing is coming up on Monday 12th December. Registration entitles entrants to apply for up to 3x categories from the expanded programme for the 2023 ceremony. Final submissions are due by 19th December.
The awards are held at a larger venue following the sell-out event in 2022 with a new Headline Sponsor in Groundsure. 8 Northumberland Avenue will host the in-person ceremony on 21st March 2023, which will be simultaneously livestreamed again via The British Conveyancing Awards website.
Run by Today’s Media, the publishers of Today’s Conveyancer, the categories and criteria have been carefully tailored to reflect the changing face of conveyancing. The first year of the awards in 2021 was about recognising the Herculean efforts of the industry in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It introduced unique categories like “Mental Health & Wellbeing Conveyancing Firm of the Year” and “‘Risen to the Challenge’ Legal Secretary”.
Now in its third year, the focus has shifted. 2023 may yet prove to be a challenging year and firms need to be looking at ways they differentiate themselves from the competition. If awards are not on your radar, they should be. Consumers are looking for ways to differentiate their choice of legal service providers; reviews, accreditations, testimonials, and awards all build credibility.
