Barker Gotelee continues growth within property team

Ipswich-based law firm Barker Gotelee has welcomed four new employees across its expanding business.

The appointments include Linda Crawford joining the firm’s property team. Linda has over 20 years’ experience in the legal profession and specialises in all aspects of residential conveyancing. This includes buying and selling properties, site acquisitions, auction legal packs, remortgaging and transfer of ownership.

Qualified member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and holder of the CII Diploma in Financial Planning, Nicky Sunderland also joins the firm to join the team as a trust and estate planning practitioner. She brings over nine years’ experience to the firm.

Lucy Underwood has also joined the property team as a conveyancing assistant and finally Lisa Hobbs joins the firm to take up a position as a junior secretary.

The additions follow the firm taking on additional office space, at their head office in Martlesham, earlier in the year in anticipation of their future growth.

Senior partner, James Skellorn, said:

“We’re delighted to welcome Nicky, Linda, Lucy and Lisa to our team. Building on our success across all of the services we offer here at Barker Gotelee, we’ve been able to continually invest in our people and the growth of our teams over many years. These investments are all made with one clear vision – to deliver outstanding service and support to our customers.”
