The new appointments include Stu White, who joins as Product and Engineering Director for Access Legal. He brings over 23 years’ experience in strategically planning and delivering market-leading software solutions – from trading platforms to digital experience systems to his most recent post as VP of Product for Retail Operations at Sage.
Alongside Stu, Clare Bonsall joins as Head of Product for Access Legal – hitting the ground running having held a similar role at Peppermint Technology where she led on case and matter management, CRM and ERM working with mid and larger law firms.
Stu and Clare will lead product development and innovation and will drive further collaboration between Access Legal’s clients and teams to ensure it delivers solutions to firms that unlock real value for their practice, their fee earners and their clients.
Speaking since joining Access Legal, Stu shares; “I’m delighted to lead the charge to provide ongoing product improvements to support our clients today – ensuring stability, security and compliance, whilst pre-empting what will take their practice and client experience to the next level. I’m passionate about innovation and excited about what the future holds. The technology landscape is interesting right now with the advancements in automation and AI and I’m eager to bring that to life in a way that is beneficial and impactful for our clients.”
And Clare adds; “From deep diving into our products and building client connections through our forums, our Customer Advisory Board and 121 engagements it’s clear how much passion there is for our products. We’re looking forward to providing gains that will quickly benefit clients as well as support law firms’ broader business goals.”
In addition to the significantly bolstered Product team, Access Legal’s next phase of growth is marked by the promotion of Andrew Stevens from Commercial Director to General Manager and Emma de Sousa to Group Managing Director, who now takes on a broader role leading both the Legal and Recruitment divisions at Access.
Emma shares; “Andrew’s depth of commercial and operational experience alongside his passion for helping clients achieve their goals via technology and transformation makes him the perfect fit. Access Legal’s commitment remains – to drive innovation and ensure our products deliver the value and outcomes that will help our clients deliver exceptional legal services and experiences to their clients.
