tmGroup adds GeoCerta to environmental search panel, widening choice for conveyancers

tmGroup has added new provider GeoCerta to its panel of environmental search providers, giving conveyancers using the platform another option when assessing environmental and climate risk on residential and commercial transactions.

GeoCerta joins existing providers already available through tmGroup, including Groundsure, Landmark, Martello and Dye & Durham. tmGroup has long believed that conveyancers are best served by being able to select the provider that suits a particular transaction, client or risk profile, and the addition of GeoCerta extends that choice further.

Launched earlier this month, Geocerta is the brainchild of Dan Montagnani, a stalwart of the environmental search industry with over 20 years’ experience. The platform delivers environmental and climate risk assessment within a single report, designed around usability and fast decision-making, and adheres to the Conveyancing Information Executive Standards (CIES), backed by £10 million of professional indemnity insurance.

GeoCerta can be selected within tmGroup’s tmConvey platform in exactly the same way as any other environmental search.

Matt Green, chief executive officer at tmGroup, said of the deal: “Choice matters when it comes to property searches. Every transaction carries a different risk profile, and giving conveyancers access to a genuine range of trusted providers means they can choose the report that fits the property in front of them rather than a one-size-fits-all report. GeoCerta brings a fresh approach to environmental risk, and we’re pleased our customers can access it from day one.”

Dan Montagnani, chief executive officer at GeoCerta, stated: “GeoCerta was founded on a simple conviction: conveyancers shouldn’t have to choose between ease of use and data integrity. Our advanced environmental search products deliver significant time savings alongside the market’s most comprehensive data and analysis – consistently exceeding regulatory standards.

“We look forward to building a high-impact partnership with tmGroup and driving extraordinary value for their clients.”
