LawCare, the mental health charity for the legal sector, is hosting a free webinar exploring how to handle difficult conversations with colleagues, managers, teams and clients.
Held on 14th May as part of Mental Health Awareness Week, the panel of legal professionals will explore practical ways to approach difficult conversations at work with confidence. Topics covered will include common causes of friction between colleagues, how to communicate openly with the people you manage, ways to raise concerns with senior colleagues or clients, and how to look after wellbeing when conversations become difficult.
The panel includes Justine Thompson, executive director of the InterLaw Diversity Forum and a workplace culture and inclusion specialist with over 20 years’ experience in professional services firms; Rupa Mooker, an employment lawyer with over 20 years’ experience and a strong advocate for equity, diversity and inclusion in the workplace; and Andrew Croft, partner at Beale & Co and a keen runner who promotes the benefits of running for mental health.
The discussion will be chaired by Lloyd Rees, knowledge lawyer at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and a LawCare Champion.
The online event will be held on Thursday 14 May from 12 to 1pm. Book your free place.
