‘Intelligent’ search pack offers most cost-effective property due diligence

Property search platform PALI has announced its proprietary automated search pack tool is now available as part of the firm’s API.

Developed over the course of the last few years, Intelligent Search Pack (ISP) is a search tool that recommends the most cost-effective property due diligence searches to ensure all the prospective risks associated with a property are checked.

The tool uses the property location, cross referenced with the search alerts services offered by the likes of Landmark, Groundsure and Mining Mediation Authority, to verify whether a property is in an area that could be subject to issues such as flood risk, or in an area of historic coal mining, or potentially blighted by upcoming planning and infrastructure projects.

Depending on the alerts flagged, ISP will select the most suitable and cost-effective bundle of searches to conduct due diligence on the property.

ISP is now available through the company’s API, enabling technology focused companies to integrate property search ordering with “greater speed, accuracy, and efficiency”, said Jo Milne, director of PALI.

“We’re excited to bring the Intelligent Search Pack to our API, giving clients the ability to automate property search ordering while ensuring every search bundle is optimised for cost and hazard coverage. With options like Climate Data filtering and full control over suppliers, it’s all about making conveyancing searches faster, smarter, and more efficient.”

The solution is fully functional with the PALI Smart Quote system, Milne added, which ensures complete transparency of both conveyancing fee and disbursements at the outset of the transaction; ensuring compliance with the SRA’s pricing transparency rules.
