Regional law firms are celebrating their successes this month, with new offices, a milestone anniversary and accolades from teams.
Bell Lamb & Joynson (pictured) has re-established its presence in Liverpool with the opening of a new city centre office, which the firm says marks a significant milestone in its growth across the north west.
The firm’s return to the city after a 15 year absence reflects its ambitions to expand reach and accessibility for its clients across the region, it said. Coming less than 12 month after the opening of a new office in Ashton-in-Makerfield, the expansion demonstrates sustained momentum following a period of “exceptional growth and national recognition,” the firm added.
“Returning to Liverpool city centre is an important moment for the firm,” managing partner Mike Leeman said.
“Liverpool has always been central to our history and our identity, and this new office allows us to build on that legacy while looking firmly to the future. Opening a second new office within a year reflects the confidence we have in our people, our strategy and the continued demand for high quality legal services across the region.”
In Bell Lamb & Joynson’s most recent financial year, turnover from client fees surpassed £5 million for the first time in its 200+ year history, which it says reflects continued client demand and strategic investment across the business.
In Morecambe, Wright & Lord Solicitors is celebrating 25 years of legal support in the community. The firm has grown steadily since it was established in 2001, gaining a reputation for clear, practical legal guidance thanks to its commitment to putting people first.
Alongside its legal advice for local families and businesses, the firm has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting local causes and community initiatives, including St John’s Hospice, Morecambe Baylight and a range of other local charities and community projects.
“Reaching 25 years gives us a moment to reflect,” said director Stephen Wright.
“We’re incredibly proud of what we have achieved so far. It’s a testament to the trust our clients place in us, the dedication of our team – past and present – and the support of the local community.
“Giving back has always been important to us, and we’re grateful to be able to support charities and organisations that make such a positive difference locally.”
Convey Law in Wales, which also has a strong focus on charitable giving and raised over £83,000 in 2025, has been voted as an “outstanding place to work” by its team members.
The 150 employees of the specialist conveyancing legal practice voted for in a 2025 Top 100 Companies to Work for Survey, placing Convey Law as the fourth best legal practice and the sixteenth best company to work for in the UK in the survey’s rankings.
Managing director Janine Wellington said:
