Conveyancers across the UK will be honoured for their role in delivering fast, reliable property transactions at the upcoming EA Masters, to be held in London on the 4th November.
The event will also see the launch of the Best Conveyancer Guide, celebrating firms that consistently enable speed and certainty in the home-moving process. Over 4,000 firms have been assessed for the guide, with 197 ‘exceptional’ and 198 ‘excellent’ firms selected for inclusion.
The selected firms will each receive a certificate at the Battersea ceremony, with the overall winner collecting the trophy for Best Conveyancer on the night. Regional and national winners will also be announced at the event.
‘This is a pivotal moment for conveyancers to be recognised not just for their technical expertise, but for the impact they have on transaction efficiency and client outcomes’, said Peter Knight, industry strategist and advocate for reform (pictured).
Clare Yates, long-time champion of service improvement in conveyancing, added:
“The Best Conveyancer Guide 2026 marks a turning point for transparency in property transactions. For the first time, consumers and professionals alike can see which firms consistently deliver speed, certainty, and service. It’s not just a recognition – it’s a roadmap for raising standards across the industry.”
The conference will also include expert-led sessions on market trends, technology and consumer expectations, with opportunities to build strategic partnerships across the property sector.

Not sure I like the look of this, Best Conveyancer Guide!
What is the significance of the ratings in the Best Conveyancer Guide?
90% of conveyancers do not achieve a rating and are not listed in the Best Estate Agent Guide.
Around 5% of conveyancers are graded with an exceptional rating based on their performance. This equates to a gold award. A further 5% are designated as excellent.
I’m just disappointed because we’re not included in it. 🙁
Nor is any other firm I know …
Am I missing something here?
Seems that firms have been largely selected based on HMLR data – time to make applications, requisitions.
As with most awards likely worthless but at least it’s not one which is “bought and paid” ; and actually based in data.
There are too many variables beyond their control in the process to judge a service on speed and completion rates.
We’re going to host a webinar to answer everyone’s questions, and will advise shortly the date and time.
Our purpose, as with the Best Estate Agent Guide, is threefold:
1. To provide home movers with a useful resource
2. To reward the best conveyancers for achieving far above average results
3. To champion and support improvement.
Everyone agrees that the process of buying and selling property is not to the standard it should be, and yet there are a significant minority, roughly the top 10%, who are achieving exchange/completion in half the time or less than average – it’s those firms we seek to highlight.
