The Bold Legal Group Summer Conference and Evening Soirée is due to take place on the longest day of the year, 21st June, something “very apt” given the number of issues on the agenda, according to Bold Legal Group (BLG) CEO Rob Hailstone.
Tickets are now available on general release. The agenda will include:
- The Building Safety Act: What changes will be made and when – The Government’s view, The Insurers’ view, The Lenders’ view, and The Agents’ view
- Enough is Enough – Can conveyancers take on any more responsibilities?
- Should conveyancers reduce their caseloads and increase fees – if so, how?
- The future of digital conveyancing
- Attracting and retaining the best people for your firm
- Wellbeing at work and staff retention
- SDLT reclaims and preventing and defending against professional negligence claims for SDLT errors
- The Law Society Climate Guidance and Practical Steps for Conveyancers
- Better onboarding with eCOS – the complete onboarding solution
- Reasons to be cheerful: Conveyancing in the coming Age of AI?
- Reviews: does anyone really read them?
There will keynote talks and panel discussions with audience participation “welcomed and encouraged”. Rob Hailstone said:
“I urge any busy conveyancer to try to find the time to attend, not only to be updated on numerous issues, but also to have the opportunity to mix with, and talk to other conveyancers at one of the best conference venues in London.”
Venue details and the full agenda and a list of the speakers and panellists can be found on the BLG website.
Not only will the day be informative and constructive, but BLG say the event will bring plenty of fun as well as some fantastic prizes to win for all attendees. Here’s what previous attendees said:
