Legal Brokers Ltd partners with Navro to launch integrated LC-5 lender checks for conveyancing firms

New service helps conveyancers monitor lender requirement changes, reduce manual administration and maintain a clear audit trail.

Legal Brokers Ltd has launched LC-5, an integrated lender checking service, in partnership with Navro. LC-5 is designed to help conveyancing firms track changes to mortgage lenders’ requirements throughout a transaction.

At £7.50 + VAT per transaction, the service monitors lender requirements, helping conveyancers keep track of changes to the UK Finance Mortgage Lenders’ Handbook. With up to five checks available per transaction, firms can review requirements from initial instruction through to completion.

Navro Compliance is a “Mortgage Lenders Handbook Authorised Partner” of UK Finance, meaning only official data is used to compile their reports so you can rely on the information given.

Changes to lender instructions can create additional work for conveyancing teams, particularly where requirements are updated while a matter is progressing. LC-5 is designed to make those changes easier to identify and assess, reducing the time spent manually reviewing lengthy documents.

The service provides a side-by-side comparison of previous and updated lender instructions, highlighting amendments so conveyancers can consider whether they affect a particular transaction. This gives fee earners a clearer view of what has changed and where further attention may be needed.

Alongside its monitoring and comparison features, LC-5 maintains an auditable record of lender checks undertaken. These records can support firms’ internal compliance procedures, file audits and Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) requirements.

The key features of LC-5 include:

  • Frequent monitoring: lender requirements are monitored four times daily to help identify updates.
  • Clear comparisons: previous and updated instructions can be viewed side by side.
  • Automatic change identification: amendments are highlighted to make relevant changes easier to review.
  • Checks throughout the transaction: up to five checks are available per matter, supporting monitoring from instruction through to completion.
  • Auditable records: a clear record of checks helps firms document their review process.

The launch expands Legal Brokers’ range of services supporting conveyancing firms, which includes property searches, indemnity insurance, ID verification and source of funds checks.

Additionally, Legal Brokers have partnered with Navro to provide an AI-powered Report on Title to clients at just £30 + VAT per transaction. The new function extracts and analyses key information from search reports, leases, TA forms and mortgage offers. Conveyancing documents are compiled into a clear, structured report within minutes.

These developments reflect the company’s continued focus on technology that helps conveyancers manage information more efficiently and reduce routine administration, giving teams more time to progress client matters.

Conveyancing firms interested in finding out more about LC-5 or Report on Title can contact Legal Brokers Ltd to arrange a demonstration.
