Keynote speaker: James Munro, Head of the National Trading Standards Estate and Letting Agency Team, Powys County Council

James joined the Trading Standards profession in 1989 and spent many years as an operational Trading Standards Officer – he now leads the National Trading Standards Estate & Letting Agency Team, overseeing the regulation of estate agency work in the UK and the private rented sector in England. The team works closely with local authorities, redress schemes, professional bodies, industry and government in its aim to protect consumers and safeguard businesses in the property sector. James is a Chartered Trading Standards Practitioner, a Fellow of the Institute, a qualified coach and mentor, and a regular speaker at industry events.
