  • Guidance from professional bodies such as The Law Society
  • Attitude of lenders and insurers

There will also be a live Q&A opportunity.

About the speakers:

Stephen Tromans KC is a leading environmental barrister and former solicitor. His work covers all aspects of environmental and natural resources law, both in its regulatory and commercial aspects, in cases such as judicial review, planning and other appeals, commercial disputes, arbitration, nuisance and other common law claims. He is recognised by Chambers & Partners in the top 100 silks across all practice areas.

Tim Champney oversees Dye & Durham UK’s product development as we continue to innovate how environmental data is delivered to homebuyers. As a Chartered Water and Environmental Manager and with a background in environmental consultancy, Tim provides input into our environmental consultancy services and risk assessment approach. With extensive experience advising clients on property acquisition, operational risk and mitigation, and negotiating development constraints he understands the requirements of a broad range of target markets as we diversify and enhance our product portfolio.

Ian Quayle is a qualified solicitor and worked in private practice for 13 years specialising in property law matters including residential development work, commercial acquisitions and disposals. Ian has delivered over 1500 property related training courses for city and regional firms, local law societies and local authorities. His training style and delivery is relaxed, but he is able to explain the law and practical issues relating to the training topic in a way that ensures delegates learn, or reinforce learning, and derive meaningful benefit from the training provided.

The event will take place Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
