myhomemove appoint new Chair and Operations Director

myhomemove, one of the UK’s leading provider of mover conveyancing services, has welcomed Bridget Blow as Chair of the company, and Tony Killeen, as its new Operations Director.

These two appointments come as the company embarks on the central stage of its ambitious plans for growth; to reach 50,000 mover completions by the end of the year, and 100,000 completions a year by 2016.

Bridget was previously a Non-Executive Director at the Bank of England for five years. As CEO of ITNET Plc, where she grew the business from £40M to £200M of revenue and in 1998 achieved a full listing of the business on the London Stock Exchange.  She is an active trustee of the Birmingham Hippodrome, Chair of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Non-Executive Deputy Chairman of the Coventry Building Society.

Doug Crawford, CEO of myhomemove, said, “Bridget’s expertise in finance, technology and outsourcing will be invaluable as we move into the next phase of our development. We’re incredibly pleased that she has accepted the position of Chair, and look forward working together to realise myhomemove’s ambition of trebling our transactional volumes by 2016. We are committed to delivering exceptional service that is underpinned by enhanced technology; principles which Bridget firmly shares.”

Tony Killeen has been appointed as the company’s new Operations Director. He has over 30 years’ experience working in the financial services sector, most recently working for RBS and NatWest. His appointment comes as the company continues to grow, having recently opened new conveyancing centres in Manchester and Leicester.

Speaking of his appointment, Tony said, “I am delighted to be joining myhomemove at such an exciting time. It is a technology-driven, forward-thinking and highly professional company that is determined to capitalise on its leading status; the kind of company that is a pleasure to work for.”
