Conveyancers asked to comment on apprenticeship plans

The Conveyancing Apprenticeship Trailblazer Consortium is running a rapid consultation on its emerging plans for a new apprenticeship in conveyancing. Work is progressing well against the very tight timetable as part of the programme being led by the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills.
The Consortium is anxious to get the views of a wide range of types and sizes of conveyancing practices. The consultation questionnaire can be completed online here
Karina Hudson of Specialist Property Lawyers said: “The Consortium is making great progress on shaping the Conveyancing Apprenticeship and we now would like to test that what we have developed so far meets the needs of conveyancing practices of every kind. As a Consortium member from a smaller firm I hope that many small employers of Licensed Conveyancers will take the opportunity to give their feedback. Because of the very tight timetable for this project, the survey can only be open for one week so I urge employers to take ten minutes to answer the questions at their earliest opportunity.”
The consultation will close on Thursday 1st May 2014.
