The SRA has on 11 June issued a warning over an individual calling himself Jonathan Lingfield who is purporting to be Principal of Lingfield Law.
The individual purporting to be Jonathan Lingfield from Lingfield Law has been in contact with members of the public in relation to property transactions.
The firm purports to have an office address of Third Floor, 19 Berkeley Street, London, W1J 8ED and DX address of DX 37297 PICCADILY. The telephone number is given as 0843 532 8761 and the email address is set out as jl@lingfield.com.
The SRA does not regulate or authorise a firm called “Lingfield Law” and it does not regulate an individual by the name of Jonathan Lingfield.
Any business or transaction through Lingfield Law or Jonathan Lingfield using the contact information above is not undertaken by a solicitor’s practice or individuals authorised or regulated by the SRA.
Any information about or dealings with ‘Lingfield Law’ or ‘Jonathan Lingfield’ using the contact details above should be reported to the police, particularly if it involves the payment of money.
