Following the suspension of HIPS and the angry response from Ashley King it appears that part of his business group has not been able to continue.
Speaking to Michelle Sheffield of David Rubin and Partners we have confirmed that:-
– Simply Group Holdings Ltd trading as “Simply HIP”;
– and
– Simply HIP Limited
are in the process of being liquidated.
Michelle stated that due to the high number of creditors not everyone had yet received notice of the creditors meeting but these are being sent out as quickly as possible. A number of search providers will no doubt be concerned for their outstanding debt.
Other businesses within the Ashley King owned “Simply” group appear to continue. The Council for Licensed Conveyancers has indicated that they have not been informed of any change in the trading status of Simply Conveyancing Property Lawyers Limited a regulated licensed conveyancer. The Licence Holding Conveyancers were unavailable for comment this morning.
