Legaltech incubator Geovation has opened applications for its next cohort, which it says will give “access to world-class technical talent, data, expertise and industry connections to help accelerate product development and commercial growth”.

The Ordnance Survey and HM Land Registry (HMLR) initiative offers up to £20,000 in equity free funding for start-ups to develop products and services for use in the property space. The programme gives access to open and proprietary datasets from OS and HMLR, with tailored technology support, geospatial expertise and business mentoring from Geovation’s team and external experts. Graduates of Geovation include Kotini, Keychain and Conveyo.

The open call for the 2026 Autumn Accelerator programme is open until 31st August. Geovation said it is looking for “ambitious startups solving challenges across property, energy, infrastructure and the natural environment”.

It added: “Whether location, land or property data already sits at the heart of your product, or you believe better data, mapping or spatial insight could unlock your next stage of growth, we’d love to hear from you.”

The organisation is open to start-up applications from any sector, but encouraged applications from solutions that align with the programme’s goals, including proptech and property, location including energy, infrastructure resilience, and spatial prioritisation and land use.

Head of Geovation Gareth Sumner said: “Geovation is completely unique in its offer to startups. Yes, we offer funding, mentoring and office space, but what sets us apart is our ability to provide access to data and the world leading expertise needed to experiment and unlock its value for startups. This combination can be transformational for a startups products and business models.”

Details on how to apply and the selection criteria are on the Geovation website.
