Maxwell Hodge strengthens property arm

North West law firm Maxwell Hodge has appointed two new members of staff to its growing property law team.

Carole Carr has over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Conveyancer, with her last role at Butcher Barlow Solicitors in Manchester, before which she worked at Canter Levin and Berg for over 18 years.

Alison Love has also joined the firm and has over 25 years of experience as a solicitor in the conveyancing team.

Alison’s most recent role was as a Residential Conveyancer Solicitor at Keith Parks Solicitors before which she worked in various roles at Canter Levin and Berg and Edwards Abram’s Doherty.

Simon Leyland, Chief Executive Officer at Maxwell Hodge, said: "We’re delighted to welcome Carole and Alison on board. They bring a wealth of experience which will strengthen our property law division."

He added: "Merseyside and in particular North Liverpool appears to be showing some signs of property recovery, with more home buyers coming onto the market and as a result we are seeing increasing demand for our conveyancing services. These two new appointments will help service this growing demand and also help us to further expand our property department."

Alison said: "I’m happy to be joining the Maxwell Hodge team at such an exciting time for the conveyancing sector. The firm is well known for its great reputation and I am looking forward to being part of the team."

Maxwell Hodge is one of the region’s leading law firms operating from offices across Merseyside and has a head office in Liverpool City Centre.
