Following the success of our Lunch & Learns in Manchester, London, Bristol and Leeds, Minerva is taking the conversation back on the road this summer, with two new sessions taking place in Liverpool and Nottingham.
These relaxed, invitation-style lunches will bring together local law firms and industry partners for open discussion around what is really working in digital onboarding, compliance, integrations, payments and client experience.
The upcoming sessions will take place on:
- 24 June – The Ivy Brasserie, 31 Castle Street, Liverpool
- 1 July – The Ivy Nottingham Brasserie, Nottingham
Both events will run from 12pm to 3pm, with lunch provided.
Minerva will be joined by sponsor partners Elavon and Xperate, both of whom bring valuable insight into the systems, processes and practical improvements helping law firms create more connected, secure and client-friendly ways of working.
Building on the conversations
At our last Lunch & Learns, more than 70 guests joined Minerva and our partners for an afternoon of discussion, updates and genuinely useful insight into what is next for digital onboarding, compliance and client experience in the property sector.
The feedback was clear: law firms value the opportunity to step away from the day-to-day and have honest conversations with peers, technology partners and industry specialists in a relaxed environment.
That is exactly what these next sessions are designed to continue.
There will be no formal presentations and no sales agenda. Instead, the Liverpool and Nottingham lunches will create space for candid, practical discussion around the challenges and opportunities law firms are navigating right now.
Topics will include:
- Client onboarding and improved client experiences
- Meaningful integrations between onboarding, payments, compliance and matter workflows
- Secure payments and reducing risk for firms and clients
- Practical innovation that supports teams, improves processes and actually sticks
Liverpool: a city built on connection
The Liverpool session will take place at The Ivy Brasserie on Castle Street, in the heart of one of the city’s historic commercial districts.
Liverpool has always been a city shaped by connection, enterprise and trust, from its maritime heritage to the professional communities that continue to support businesses, families and individuals across the region today.
This Lunch & Learn will bring together law firms from across Liverpool and the wider city region to share ideas, experiences and practical approaches to improving the onboarding journey.
For firms looking to make client interactions smoother, compliance more robust and internal processes more joined-up, the session offers a chance to hear what others are doing, what is working, and where the next opportunities lie.
Nottingham: where craft, commerce and community meet
The Nottingham session will take place at The Ivy Nottingham Brasserie, bringing together firms from across the city and wider East Midlands legal community.
Nottingham has a long-standing reputation for independence, ingenuity and enterprise, from its historic Lace Market to the modern professional services businesses that continue to shape the city today.
This Lunch & Learn will reflect that same spirit: practical, open and focused on real-world improvements.
The conversation will explore how law firms can create more connected processes across onboarding, AML, secure payments and matter workflows, while keeping the experience simple and reassuring for clients.
Partner insight from Elavon and Xperate
A key part of the Lunch & Learn format is the knowledge and insight shared by trusted partners.
For these summer sessions, Elavon will bring its expertise in secure payment solutions for law firms, including how firms can reduce friction, improve payment confidence and create safer, more seamless client payment experiences.
Xperate will join the discussion as legal tech, software and workflow specialists, helping firms explore how meaningful integrations can connect the tools they already use, reduce duplication and support more efficient ways of working.
Together with Minerva, both partners will contribute to a wider conversation about how law firms can build a more connected onboarding journey; one that supports compliance, improves client experience and gives teams greater confidence in the systems behind the process.
One connected, client-friendly journey
The purpose of Minerva’s Lunch & Learn sessions is simple: to create an easy, relaxed and informative environment where ambitious law firms can connect with like-minded practitioners and key industry partners.
From identity checks to payments, from compliance to communication, every stage of the onboarding process now carries higher expectations for speed, transparency, security and trust.
By working closely with trusted partners like Elavon and Xperate, Minerva gives law firms one secure, effortless digital experience intelligent onboarding that retains clients and delivers the engagement that keeps them coming back, after all growing your business starts with getting the client experience right.
Places for both sessions are limited, and law firms interested in attending are encouraged to register their interest.
